Margaret Atwood Reading in Tuscaloosa, November 14

Margaret Atwood, a renowned writer from Canada, will reading at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on November 14. Atwood is known for her bestselling novel The Handmaid’s Tale, which first adapted into a movie in 1990 and more recently into a TV series on Hulu. She is also an award-winning poet with works such as Double Persephone, which she won her the EJ Pratt Medal, and The Circle Game, which won a Governor General’s award.

Atwood will be reading at the Bama Theatre on the university campus from 7:00 ’til 8:00 PM. While the event is free, tickets are still required and are available for reservation. More information for about Atwood and the event is provided on The University of Alabama’s website.
