“Check you later!”

newsprung: art & writing in the deep south is on break!

It’s mid-May, and we are winding down for the school year, but if all goes well, newsprung will return in the fall of 2017.

The Deep South is home to many talented and skilled young writers and artists and to a plethora of high schools with strong art and writing programs. To date, the mission of newsprung has been to promote the stellar art and writing being created and shared in our region, and to highlight the excellent work being done in the region by high school students and their teachers.
