Two good stories from NPR

In “Verses That Celebrate Life on the Farm,” where NPR Food connects with National Poetry Month, we read about poet Tess Taylor who muses on her poems and also her work with community gardens and small farms. (Thanks to TJ for tipping us off to this one!)

In less literary news, NPR reported this week that the fertilizer brand Ortho will stop using the chemicals called neonicotinoids “after considering the range of possible threats to bees and other pollinators.” Read more at “Home and Garden Giant Ditches Class of Pesticides That May Harm Bees.”
